Real Drum Preset Kit 211 (set 1)

🥁 Seriously, You Need to Download Real Drum Right Now!

If you've been searching for the best mobile drumming app, stop looking. Seriously, Real Drum is the answer. It runs perfectly on both Android and iOS, and out of all the virtual drum kits I've tried.

Why It Just Feels Better

The thing that hooked me immediately is how flexible and current this app is. Forget being stuck with five boring kits forever. Real Drum lets you swap out different sounds and kits, and the best part? They update the preset kits every single week! That means you always have something fresh to play with.

But if you’re a control freak like me (in the best way!), you can actually build your own custom presets. You get to pick and choose your favorite sounds and map them out exactly how you want. It’s not just an app; it’s a personalized, pocket-sized drum studio. How cool is that?

My Favorite Way to Jam and Practice

Real Drum is packed with smart features that just make playing fun and practice effective. I have to shout out my absolute favorite: the ability to record your drumming with a drumless backing track. Seriously, you can pull up a track, lay down your own beat, and record the whole thing instantly. It’s perfect for practicing those difficult fills!

Here are a few other features that make this app a must-have:

  1. Instant Sharing: Finish a killer solo? You can blast your recordings out to all your friends and followers on social media and chat apps instantly. You see all those awesome YouTube drumming videos? A lot of them start right here.

  2. Rhythm Master (Premium): If you're serious about your chops, the built-in metronome is crucial. It keeps your timing rock-solid. (Fair warning: this one's a premium feature, but totally worth it for the practice time you'll get.)

  3. Jamming Loops (More Premium Goodness): Sometimes you just need a backing track to groove to. The app comes with great default loops—think blues, rock, jazz, and more—ready to go. (If you want the whole library of loops, you'll need to upgrade, but it opens up so much variety.)

  4. Comfort First: This is super thoughtful: you can switch the hi-hat and floor tom positions from right to left. If you have a specific playing style or prefer a mirrored setup, just tap that little circle icon in the upper left corner and boom—instant comfort!

  5. Mix It Yourself: Hate when the backing track is too loud? You can independently adjust the volume of the drums and the backing music in the settings menu. Get the mix perfect for your headphones.

  6. Play Your Tracks: You can load up any drumless track song saved on your device and use it as your accompaniment. Just hit the play icon up top and select your song. It’s the easiest way to feel like you’re sitting in with a band.

  7. Kit Overload (In a Good Way): With all the presets available, you’ll never run out of new sounds. (I’ve even put together a bunch of my own tutorials and preset guides on this blog if you want to see how to master all the changes!)

And here's a bonus: the developers, KOLB Touch and Play, aren't just drum fanatics. They make other awesome virtual instrument apps too, like guitars and keyboards. So if you’re trying to build a mobile band, they’ve got you covered!

Go download it and get drumming—you won't regret it!
